Hit or Miss-tery: Unraveling the Unsolved

This podcast is co-written by Jenard Soriano as part of the requirements of BC 101 - Broadcast Performance and Operations course.

He also served as the voice of the detective.

~

In today's political climate, where solving cases is done with careless methods, it is no wonder that innocent people are blindly put behind bars. People tasked to bring justice don't necessarily care if they shine a light on the truth or otherwise. In other words, solving cases is just "hit or miss." The last two syllables of the word "Mystery" are added to the title denoting that the topics in the podcast will revolve around this theme. Further, "unraveling the unsolved" speaks about what the podcast is trying to achieve. Even if the stories are fictional, they still reflect the realities of today. This podcast is a storytelling podcast that would feature various mystery and crime fictional narratives linked to issues in Philippine society.

EPISODE DESCRIPTION

A man is found dead, lying in his room, stabbed by a familiar pen. There's no sign of a struggle, only a disorganized couch and a messy sink. Lured by an unknown letter sent to him, a longtime detective meets the tenants of an old apartment where the victim has lived for more than thirty years. And there, the search begins.
